So to all my fitness enthusiasts, how are you staying fit?
I actually had to change my mindset, and kick myself off the couch and away from NetFlix! So since all the Gyms are closed ( seems like forever) i have started going on daily walks. The really cool thing is that i really enjoy it!
I have also connected with some interesting people. In one case it is a little Asian man who lives down the street, now i have seen him around for a couple of years. I had always just kind of overlooked him and his beautiful dog. He always looked so sad and kind of depressed, i didn't know how to deal with that. So lately i see him every morning and i simply started saying good morning and petting his dog. Now after about 2 weeks when he sees me his face lights up and he is talking and smiling at me. Just made me think that maybe this whole lockdown thing has sort of a silver lining? This little man who i dismissed for years now i think looks forward to our little chats,makes me smile too! So in short right now until it gets a little warmer , my daily walks make me happy, and keep me connected with the outside world.
